Heyo! Moving to a new spot which will require some solo E-bike shuttles. Drop bike at bottom, drive to top, bike with gear back to car. Can I see some pictures or hear ideas for ways to take or mount a SUP board, paddle, foil on an e-bike? Appreciate it!

I know the pic shows out of stock but if you check they usually are working on a run. Only gripe is wheels are solid and not bike tires.

I’ve been doing electric bike downwinders for a while now. But only to landing spots where I know I can leave my gear safely while I bike back up and drive back down to get it. I’ll build a rack one of these days

I put all my gear in the car. Drive to the spot. Do the run (3-7 miles). Walk home from the beach and drop my stuff off. Jump in the pool and change clothes. Then hop on my kids E Scooter and ride it back to my car.
They actually have outstanding range and you can just fold them up and put them in a backseat of a car easily. And they’re pretty reasonably cheap too. At least compared to E bikes.

Here in Hood River, there are a number of guys who seem to make a daily commute to the waterfront on an ebike with all their gear on a trailer behind it…they all look pretty similar, so it seems to be a thing…

Second hand e-scooters might be cheap, but a beachfront house with a pool isn’t! I wish haha

Hitch it! I’ve got hundreds of miles of runners done just thumbing rides! No faster way to get up wind than in the back of a stranger’s Pickup!
I use this electra surfboard rack that’s on super close outright now… you gotta pry the board hooks open a bit t fit the thicker board in but it works great once you ape on it.

I’ve had good luck with the Rambo Canoe Trailer for self supported downwind runs: Rambo Kayak & Canoe Trailer | Lightweight Tow – Rambo Bikes
The trailer breaks down into 2 pieces. I drive to the take out point with the board on the top the car, trailer and ebike in car. Then ebike to start with board on the trailer.
I mostly use the ebike/trailer combo to park places with limited car parking, this has saved me tons of time and a bit of money. I actively advocate this setup to open up water access.
Fortunately I have a friend who lives close to the put in spot, so I leave my rig there, drive to take out, get on pedal bike, return to put in, DW, load rig in car, retrieve bike.
I’ve also hitched a ride. Wearing my wetsuit/Vaikobi I hold a sign with big letters “Mesa Lane. I am dry”. Sometimes it takes a while to get a ride, so I prefer the bike. But removing the front wheel and fitting the bike in the CRV is inconvenient. Pros and Cons. But, being able to go for solo short runs is clutch! [Other options are wife-pick up or Uber]
