# Flowchart / FAQ - how to learn to foil

It gets asked quite often, and I’ve felt like there was a lot of really good information that has accumulated on this forum around when it is useful to foil, where, what sequence, prone foil etc

With this, I’ve asked AI to skim the forums and accumulate some knowledge which I then turned into a Flowchart style question series.

I’ve excluded DW and PW as that is too nuanced for now (you don’t choose to SUP DW, you get chosen). If you want, you can find the repo on github and suggest directly.

As an example, it correctly identifies LA as a winging destination not a prone surf destination (Lol)
