Putting together a FD set up. If using a trench board and say a 12 or 15cm cable, would the ideal mast length be 80 or 85cm? I use 80cm for prone. Local spot tends to be a bit choppy and is shallow. Also, better to have 2 sport batteries and a standard motor (least expensive entry), or start off with the max and standard V2, or worth the cash layout for the Max high power? 200lbs and 40-45 litre 5’5”ish board.
max battery with hp motor and 3 blade prop without a doubt
85cm mast and stay out of the shallows

I use the 800 mast with a 15cm pod in large bay chop for upwind/downwind on a 5’2 trench. Tried the 12cm but just a bit too much ventilation of the prop.
