Everyone has their own methods. The enemy is the trailing lines if you dont manage them.

😂 sorry will take my BRM bias over to the PW lounge and not hijack this thread. Ozone is popular for good reasons. Just trying to point out that the trade offs we all face in gear selection

My original pw quiver was a mix of gen1/2 BRM and a 3m PRv1. The PR flies great, but I always just felt like those lines were actively working to tangle themselves. I bought the recommended fabric glue to try and stiffen them up but ended up not trying it as I heard it doesn’t last long.

Hope you guys find a good workable solution. Sad to hear the v2 isn’t the answer. Hope Ozone gets the memo and changes line material choice in the future models.

Haha

I don’t manage them at all.

Pull the centre a’s and put the bar immediately in the back hand with the centre a’s. That’s it, two seconds.

Rip around with the whole thing dragging everywhere. No drama. The drama happens when the wing is retracted in one hand and the lines to the bar in the other hand are like a big skipping rope. Of course they tangle in this scenario.

Well plenty of choices of PW out there to find what works for everyone. I just use Ozone, not sponsored by them. Its what i tried and it works for me…the V1 lines do tangle, the V2 lines are much better but they still tangle. Thats why i came up with my 5 steps technique, may not work for you or anybody else but since i come back and grab all lines and leave nothing dangling around. My re-deploy success rate is 8 out of 10 on redeployment.

Well, arent you a badass. Glad it works out for you but as stated, everyone does what works for them. What works for me takes a whopping 10-15 secs…we have waves that go on for a 1000 yards so plenty of time to deal with the Parawing.

Yeah well this old so called bad ass wouldn’t settle for 10 to 15 seconds and 8 out of 10.

Yes, i know. My technique sucks, my Parawinging sucks and your so much better than me and your technique and ways of Parawing is so good and your dick is bigger than mine. But thats the beauty of Parawinging isnt it. Here in Oahu we got the outer reefs to play on, so if it takes me 1 minute to stash my PW, oh well, i still have a long ass wave to stay on. Can’t wait to see some of your videos or ways to help people improve, help us guys that arent on your level to improve. Maybe leave that aggro surfer mentality on the shore and help us little guys out to get on your level.

I am not the one making personal comments. You don’t even know me but in future I will keep my advice to my self.

Hopefully you have a better day tomorrow.

Brah, i just posted a video of HOW i deal with my parawing but just like most forums or post you’ll always have people making negative comments. Did you not say " i wouldn’t settle for 10-15 secs and 8 out of 10". I never said my way was the best. It just works for me but thats why i come on here or watch youtube or other Parawingers to see what can be improved on. If you got tips or tricks by all means let others know, if you’re doing something that can help others, share the knowledge. Thats why i posted the video, i showed local Parawingers here and it seems to help them, if my technique sucks and its complex, and theres a better way let me know how it can be improved. See you on the water.
