Looks like direct replacements for the 90, 120, 150, and 180
I work at an authorized Lift dealer I have personally invested significantly in the Lift ecosystem. My current quiver includes:

Recently, I discovered a significant crack in the tail of my 21x wing. Upon contacting support, I was informed that because I am an employee at a dealership, my warranty period is restricted to only 90 days. Consequently, I was told that none of my extensive collection of gear is currently covered under warranty.
It is disheartening that after purchasing three foils, two masts, and three tails, my status as a dealer employee—someone who actively promotes and sells your brand to the public—is being used as a reason to deny support for a manufacturing defect. This policy feels like a penalty for being a brand advocate.
As it stands, this experience has completely soured my view of the brand. While I will continue to use my 180 HAX and M2 mast for the time being, I no longer feel comfortable investing in or recommending Lift gear to my customers or peers. I will be looking for a new foil ecosystem that values customer loyalty and stands behind their products regardless of the owner’s profession.

Has anybody spent some time on the new Varios yet? Comparisons to the 90 and 120 for prone?

Yes that is a tapered mast for sure.
They are working on a few things. Saw a handful of very interesting things from them. Will not post pics or specs. Seems they are pushing hard for the race and a big focus there from what I have seen, and feedback has been very positive.
For the intermediate to advanced foiler, lift has always been great. Where in the past it was not been amazing was their more beginner / larger wings. I don’t think Nick rides that stuff! It just didn’t feel as performance driven as their smaller stuff that was really more innovative.
The new vario was definitely a step up from the HA and sits very well with the times.
Im sure they will learn a ton from this race development they are going through right now and the future is still very bright for lift. Lift is not going anywhere. “They are here to stay”

That’s crazy! Yeah their old warranty was wild “3 years later you got a crack sure here’s a new 120” and they just forgot the old one and let you pass it to a buddy

Spot the adaptor on the left mast and three bolts on the right. Have it from a good source that the new wings use a shallower fusealage pocket but you can run old wings with an adaptor

Has anyone fould a good travel bag for Lift foils?
I’ve got an upcoming Fiji trip and need to find a way safe way to pack them for air travel.
Any word on an actual downwind tail from lift? Seems odd they continue to Omit something fast and high aspect for optimal speed and efficiency…
I’ve just been putting them in my board bags with the cases on. Take the tails off and wrap them separately with some extra padding. I have LF supply bag and it fits my paddle and two front wings on the top compartment and then I use my old school ocean and earth bag with an extra divider for my parawing board and another wing and tail.
I’ve also brought just my foils (no boards) in the lift grubb wake surf board bag.

@Kris thanks mate. I ended up with 4 board surf bag. I can fit two boards + mast and wings comfortably. Working a treat on my current Fiji trip.

Anyone have perspective on the 120/150 HA compare to the Varios? been riding the 170ha for last 3 years and looking to move to something with strong glide still but also better turning for prone. Mostly surfing waves 1-4 ft.

I got a 120+150 Vario a month ago. Rode the 120 back to back behind a boat with the old HA and sold my 120+150 HA.
The Vario feel quite similar in glide and pump, it turns a bit more smoothly - doesnt feel like the foil wants to tighten up a turn when pushed hard - which feels more intuitive. Vario also breaches wingtips much better.

It’s a shame Lift weren’t showing any of the new wings at the AWSI expo in Hood River. Just the varios. I’m guessing the new race wings and mast are a long way off release
