I watched it yesterday. That was very cool. Specially because I have all 3 of those foils. I fully agree. I tend to never ride the 960R. I’m just not too fond of the stiff turning. That said, I borrowed a demo 1250R (which of course turns even worse), for paddle ups… to get ready for downwinding in light air. Oddly, to get a feel for it I took it out on a light day, with a wing, with a 75+ mast and a 65L board and had a lot of fun on it. It’s all about having the mind-set of knowing what’s under your feet and trying to ride it like it’s meant to be ridden. If you try and do something else with it, you’re not going to have fun. (Like trying to turn them too hard).
