I have owned a FD, AMP and Duotone. Duotone weighs less than a kilo difference to your prone setup and is seamless when you are swapping between the two styles. Duotone takes the win for me. All 3 are so much fun, which one is best will depend on your personal requirements. I would love to try a Tow Boggie as that has the perfect weight difference to your prone setup…….zero!
Foil drive fusion with a Cedrus integrated. It’s a Swiss Army knife. Any foil, any style. Beginner pick a big board and foil. Upwind down wind just motor on! Pump practice slap any foil you like and go. Keep your quiver and even Efoil on the days it’s flat.
I like flexibility so I can get out more days and ride the magic carpet!
Waydoo is the best. Especially when run in pull mode. Can’t believe that’s on this thread…
Their Subnado looks promising; mount inside a trench board cavity on a spring loaded dagger through the deck that you lower and turn on when you drop to prone, then auto shuts off when it raises as you pop to your feet…. I’ll get to work on a prototype and post in the “no such thing as a ridiculous idea” thread!
If I could go back in time I would get a used assist plus with a backpack mod. like the OG sky rama.
why is Fusion the only option for Foil Drive? Don’t have one, not interested in one, but Love my Foil Drive.
Look into the foil dash once that thing gets released. apparently its the most powerful assist out there, 9l boards 500cm foils.
Did you leave out the most sold foil assist - FD Max - on purpose?
