Not a joke. That’s what I want for dock start

I’m not the biggest fan of dock starting, but I’ve used my pocket kitefoil board for it and it works excellent. Slingshot HopeCraft V2 90cm

At your weight, you have to be selective. I’m 200lbs. Several guys in our group are over 200lbs. Slingshot puddle pumper is excellent. Heavy but bombproof. You’ll snap all their other model board. The takoon dock board my buddy has seems to be holding up well so far. We’ve broken several others; liquid force, cabrinha, dwarfcraft

I’m 195 and the HopeCraft seems fine as a Clydesdale board. Apparently the old Dwarfcrafts were quite weak, so they bumped up the stiffness and durability for the Hopecrafts.

The hopecraft is much lighter than the puddle pumper. That’s great to hear it’s strong

The Gong Kluber 80 is crazy value and the only way you can get a better board for dockstarts is spending $900+.

While the Puddle Pumper will work, the thing is a tank and I wouldn’t want to pump it personally.

Indiana’s pump foil board is thicker. but gong may have more carbon?

After learning to pump off and on for months on the Foil Drive, I think I’ve finally started to get it on my progression 200 with the medium fuse, but I’m trying to figure out how to get my kids into this. I’ve ordered one of these. I’m going to get a multi-function ladder for a portable dock. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4YLPsUNIwTk](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4YLPsUNIwTk)

Foil DRive is great but too expensive for a family and still probably not the best way to learn to pump in light of the above.
