I’ll be in Hampstead for work next Tuesday, and it looks like it should be setting up for some pretty solid parawing conditions. I’ll probably be wrapping up work around noon but won’t have time to drive back to Charleston to session so thinking about bringing my gear with me and riding in NC before I head back home for the night. Is Wrightsville Beach my best option? Guessing there is a crew that rides there regularly? Bummed I’ll miss the Hydrocraft demo by a couple days.
What’s up man. I’ve only just begun my journey with Parawing but was successful on my first run back behind Wrightsville beach in the channel. Guarantee there will be a couple guys out there as well as some wing Foiler’s. Just park as far down at the south end as possible. The jetty provides good protection for an easy beach launch. Hope to see ya out there! ![]()
So, Tuesday Oct. 6? You probably don’t want to come any further north than you have to, but if the NE wind forecast holds for that day, it will be good that afternoon in Bogue Inlet (western side of Emerald Isle). It will be wind against tide until it shifts at about 5pm. Not sure if I’ll be able to ride that day but would join you if I can.
