I made myself another board leash following the same idea, but with thinner Dyneema rope this time as the previous version was a bit overbuilt. It’s 4mm Dyneema rope with 4mm Dyneema bungee inside.
Tested on Friday and I’m satisfied as it is very light and seems to have less recoil than the coiled leash I had been using.
