Stoke Foil Boost... It works!

Thanks for sharing!
That clip is exactly what I’m dreaming of doing.
Looking for a bit of guidance for FD in the Bay Area…

I’m in Oakland and just finished my first season wing foiling at Crissy and am so deeply hooked. I’m 84KG and I’ve been on a 105L 5’10’’ Fone Rocket and an axis 105cm alu mast with a 900HA and 370 free ride stab and 68 short fuse. I also bought a 75cm Alu mast in and a paddle that I haven’t used yet…
I am hoping to buy a foil drive on Black Friday if I can get any deal what so ever.

Do you think I’ll be able to use my current set up with FD for a decent amount of time before getting a smaller board or changing wings?
I figure I’ll go to the closest water, either alameda or Albany beach and practice flat ish water starts, pumping, turning while pumping for quite a while and then start riding further to find some more energy if there is any?
It’s so easy to get gear overwhelm and every bit is so expensive!

Thanks!

I started using Stoke Foil Boost to hone my pumping skills when im not in the mood for dockstarting.
Biggest plus are the batteries. I have the 211Wh sport bats and i can get around 1 hour of action out of a single bat. Didnt expect that!

Does anyone know or have a good estimate of the actual shaft power? I know that the 4kW is some marketing test stand peak electrical power. (Thats ok)
But id love to have a proper number.
From my very coase measurements and estimates im guessing 1-1.5kW max shaft power.

What’s your setup and how do you practice pumpfoiling? Getting my 5’0 45l up in the flats hasn’t worked so far, but will give me 5’7 57l a go next time

dockstart: Slingshot Dwarfcraft v3 16l + F-One Jam 1900 (actually doing ladder dead starting most of the time)
waterstart + stoke: F-One Rocket SUP DW 120l + F-One Gravity Carbon 1800 (didnt try with the JAM yet, the Gravity already produces crazy lift on start) @ around 90kg-95kg with gear (5mm full neo)
so im just getting on foil like the paddle up guys and then trying to time my pumps properly

I’m using the stoke to work on pumping on flat days as well. I use a north horizon board 105L and the f-one jam 1600, I had to pack the foil track with foam to get the under board receiver to work consistently. The battery lasts almost a couple hours as you only use it for about 10 seconds at a time to get up on foil.
