Its gone quiet here…anyone on the forum riding with the Boogie? I see they’re taking orders for batch #2
Quite a few Boogies out there now, and have almost sold out of batch #2. As soon as a Boogie arrives in a new location it results in several more sales.
To increase safety of the Boogie we are introducing geofencing of popular surf spots, just like with a drone close to an airport. More details on that here:
This will allow us to limit speeds in auto modes and if necessary completely block out an area.
The geofence update will include a position hold feature as well so you can leave the Boogie out the back and won’t blow away.
Feedback and reliability has been great for a 1st Gen product.

Amazing work Mark, I appreciate the efforts being made to insure the boogies are used in appropriate areas and wish another popular assist would follow your lead!

Cheers. The Boogie is by far the very best, no compromise, assist product available so keen to do everything we can to stop idiots and to keep in front of any regulations.
If any other brand wants to jump on board with this approach that would be great, happy to share sample code and also geofence map data of methodology.
