Traveling one way (hopefully) with a Foil Drive and two max batteries to the Dominican from the US. Any suggestions on easiest/cheapest route or transportation methods?

Not an answer to the question, but in case you need to get or borrow a battery, Liquid Blue in Cabarete has them.
Fairly sure you have to find a shipper to send the batteries ahead of time.
I have heard its such a pain its almost not worth it.
I actually wondered about a cruise ship. Could you take these batteries on a cruise and just not get back on in DR?
Try to sell your batteries and buy some new ones when you get to DR.
