270 Boards SUP, Wing, Parawing and DW Board review

Always here to help build a custom at a decent cost is my goal. Not here to be rich but just stoke people out. I can’t make everyone happy…but I strive to always do whats right.

@SaltyHaole has been getting boards since the beginning when I was working with Steve Ford who taught me a lot. He was in the Freedom era where we had to figure out construction issues through failure. My second laminator was taking short cuts unfortunately which would appear on some builds over time. Live and learn!

Out of 150 boards done this year, I have not had one failure whatsoever. I could not say that with my prior laminator. Although an occasional issue may arise, it is typically not my laminator and could be my fault with a file or cut. All usually very minor. This can happen with a custom build.

Yep one of those “green Kalama” front strap option is mine $1,250, paid I think $2,200 custom. Great board don’t really care if I sell it but pretty much all parawing right now. Need to buy a shorter wider board for wave season. Or maybe trade for the right one. Many boards on Maui sub $1000 sell, as we progress or change disciplines needs change. Many deals in the photo collage..

Been trying to sell mine for over a year @$900. I think it’s gonna end up hanging on my wall as art :winking_face_with_tongue:

Used foil market is tough. You either have to take a big loss or hold on to it.

Once I can pull the trigger on a new mid length, @270boardco will be the one! Grant is a solid dude and is crushing it. Maybe I should buy one now instead of putting a new roof on my house? :upside_down_face:

I have the identical shape to the pink/black board except it’s 84L (@87Kg). Been using it for parawing in the Gorge since spring and LOVE IT!

I think it gets off the water as fast my 8’6 DW board :+1:
