Any sightings? Intel re big changes? More PR v2 or more AfterBurner?
Could be mistaken but I think you can see it about 2/3 through this video. Same Red/Orange colors as OG Frigate but no branding. I thought it would have the same 2 point bridle system as the Quest, but this one appears to have standard ABC bridles. Clearly a prototype so who knows what the production version will be (probably July).
yeah, saw those distinctive Frigate colours and thought the same thing, v2 proto.
Stoked they’re sacrificing early summer v2 sales, maybs even tweak final design a bit now theyve had a chance to play with PR v2 and BRM v3. But who knows ![]()
Going by the reviews the bars pretty high with the PR v2
Any more news on the V2?
I was expecting this to drop around the 15th of June based on last year’s release. Anyone seen any indication of when its coming out?
From what I’ve heard from a dealer, It was supposed to come out in july but its postponed. Thats all I have.
Thanks for the reply. I have found that dealers will say anything to try to get you to buy their existing stock. I had a guy tell me that they weren’t going to change the Ozone V1 very much. Hopefully your contact is more honest but I take everything they say with a big grain of salt.
My local dealer just slashed his prices on Frigate. 860 USD for a 3.5m. Usually means new stock coming soon. https://www.watersportswarehouse.co.za/product/f-one-frigate-pocket-wing/?srsltid=AfmBOorSq_yEgidxF8_PQN2mR51Ldodbr-31oNtmHOj-aOz8K82HlMI3
Its a friend of mine. I trust him. I was waiting for the V2 as well. I think shop discount their v1 cause they are harder to sell since the release of the Quest.
Any clue about when it hits the market?
I had a shop ready to take my money promising delivery end of June. Then they upped the price so I decided to wait to see what the v2’s are actually like.
Only thing that makes sense to me is they weren’t happy with the v2 yet so sent it back for more R and D.
it looks like all the dealers in Australia have the V1 on sale so shouldn’t be long now I reckon.
