Anyone used the new Performance-X mast and have feedback?

F*@**# Armie armstrong. They changed the color on on the cover. Always had a bunch of blue and silver covers. Wife could not tell a difference. Now I get the PMX in a black and white cover and put in the garage.. AND not 5 minutes later the wife is like how much did that cost. Cuz she knows it does cost a good amount. Umm…uhhhh…ummm…shove a snickers bar in my mouth and mumble an answer. Had to change the colors…???
Had it winging with an 870/130. Seemed to glide super easy in small chop but can’t say it was the mast or the wing or both.

They’ve told me it’s a 4-6 week lead time on my order 
Finally had a chance to test it in some good surf. It definitely feels more slippery through the water. Hard to quantify. But definitely more lively. Used it with 890/130 over the past 2 days. Don’t know if that helps or not.
Let me add.
I am always upgrading to the newer gear. So I can’t really answer if it is worth it or not. I have upgraded every time with armstrong and have not yet been disappointed.

My wife can’t tell the difference between a Longboard and a shortboard but she will notice immediately that my mast is 2mm thinner
