Headed over there with the family in a week. Would love some info on the following:

  1. Can i rent gear/borrow gear somewhere?
  2. How are the water temps?
  3. Where should i check out?

Not a local there, but I heard St Jean de Luz is a good spot. You can probably message Clement Danglot on IG for recommendations.

Thanks, yeah i am staying in saint jean de luz, so that could be cool.

Update for all those interested:

spoke to some guys at the beach and they suggested I reach out to Anglet Foiling School. Rented a nice duotone prone set up from him and a wetsuit. Staying right by the spot in Dr Jean de Luz so I’ll try to paddle out at some point.
