BTW, Sabfoil has a pretty excellent surf wings line - Razor pro - for more than 1.5 years already, and before that they had a ordinary Razor line that worked for slower waves.
Just had a session yesterday, in almost non-existent waves, with a 850 cm2 front wing here in this clip. Not using a wing while already on a wave. Razor pro rocks.
For me to believe Sabfoil has any good prone setups I’ve actually got to hear about or see someone prone foiling one and after the video provided that still hasn’t happened!
For real tho this is like gong in that maybe you have to speak a different language to be in touch with what wing works for prone(because in the history foiling I’ve literally never heard do someone prone foiling sabfoil). There needs to be some kind of info out there about people proning it on what wave - some kind of buzz or else your just buying on numbers alone…like I personally did with the w940 which was trash…even at the time 3 years ago.
I mean I think thst even the new hottest foils should be demoed first (hype isn’t everything) but that doesn’t mean I’m advocating going and buying brands totally UNKNOWN for prone foiling…esp for a beginner foiler which is what this thread is about.
