I’m interested in designing the FD latch in the strongest material possible (broke several). Can this be done?
Do you mean sending a 3D design to a company like PCBWay and getting it made out of some metal?

Yeah I agree. I think Adam should hit up Foil Drive directly and see what they think about - they seem pretty cool and would be interested in the problem.
The latches have already been upgraded to polycarbonate material, V2 is stamped on them. I’ve only heard of one V2 latch ever being broken, maybe a manufacturing fault. Are people seeing more broken V2’s?
I have had issues with the new ones, and just wondered about aluminum or stronger. That being said, my rubber seal got stretched and needed to be replaced. Once that got refit, cover fit much better.
