Not a good sign. Fingers crossed shops aren’t going to end up shutting their doors if they can’t get product.
For 200 retail for a few thin strips of plastic, they should be the first company to make their product in Mexico or USA instead of China
Futures makes their fin boxes in the USA and a portion of their fins also. They must be feeling good about that right now. And they are a nice group of people that are passionate about riding sideways.
wow thats crazy. Fcs was kinda going downhill anyways with their fcs2 system
What don’t you like about FCS2? You get to beat on your $120 fins trailing edge with your shoe to get them out, or simply pop out with thigh while duck diving at your favorite long hike and long paddle out spot cause you didn’t remember to buy the optional set screws that allow for use of regular FCS fins…
And they sell single replacement fins on the site. Err, well, they used to I guess.
I like their car racks and have had a few of their travel bags over the years.
It’s going to be rough setting up textiles factories on US soil
I am an odd man out in terms of fins. My fin system of choice is lokbox. Talk about pita for install and removal. BUT they are the closest to glassed in fins of all the systems once the fins are snug in. The fin box and fin attachment is sometimes even stiffer than a glassed in fin at least in all my boards. Fcs2 fin boxes are notorious for complete blow out, fin and finbox just gone. Futures wins for overall winner for ease of use and fin box.
edit: I realize your post was tongue in cheek lol
I’ve got at least 3 sets in my garage you can have. No boards with that system anymore.
Wow! I No way! I will most definitley give you some money for them
And why do they have to sell single replacement fins? Oh because they fall out constantly when you don’t want them to and are impossible to get out when you do want them out.
