Yes, if you’re the same person. But there’s a clear pattern of scammers exhibiting this exact modus operandi on this board, and this appears to fit the pattern. Different names. Copy and paste of the details.
And now that Alexa is accusing me of scamming, it’s become 100% clear this is a scam. At least I have some non-scam related posts on the board.
Not sure best how to proceed. Should we flag things when they look suspicious? Or is it just caveat emptor?
Are you buying from a Facebook post to check if it’s a different seller or the same person? Just buy on Facebook and you’ll be kicked out of the forum. Most sellers sell on both Facebook and here, so make sure you pay with PayPal, as it offers purchase protection. This helps protect sellers from fraudulent buyers like you.
How do you avoid scams on here. Any suggested payment method offers protection from scammers. Anyone can post on here and can’t realy validate their legitimacy in any reliable manner. Is just meeting face to face the only reasonable option ?

PayPal payments ONLY. You can get a refund if the product is not as described. or scammed
Insist on video call. It’s just annoying to have to filter through all the static of suspicious posts and time wasted.
PayPal has certain purchase protection, but the default person-to-person PayPal does NOT. If you’re selling, be careful of accepting the Goods and Services payment as that leaves buyer an option to raise a dispute. If you want PayPal arbitrating your sale then maybe, but keep lots of photos and tracking info for 180 days.
