I was thinking, imagine foiling gets to football/basketball level popularity (not something that seems enjoyable, but let’s pretend), what would be the lower bound of prices?
That is, probably the prices of the materials and such, so what would that be for foil wings, masts, boards, inflatable wings and parawings… ?

I think Decathlon indicative of this with their £530 foil and roughly the same again for 70L wing board
I would imagine around $1200 is the practical lower bound for a board+foil, and I don’t see why the learnings from the exotics don’t lead to a reasonably capable entry level.
I think like bikes and skateboards and cars, the learning is that they will be popular, made in China, and be just useful enough for most people to realise they aren’t actually that interested in learning it
