Mast Ventilation

Hi,
I am currently ride a Fone HM 14mm 95cm carbon mast for Kite foiling.
My issue is i am getting loads of ventilation in small side on chop when going hard upwind and in tacks.
Does anyone have the same experience with this mast as its sort of ruining my foiling experience.
Thanks

Soap, sponge and water. Clean the mast really well every 2 to 3 sessions. Don’t touch the mast with your greasy hands. Check to see if there are any small dings or scratches on the leading edge.

Yep already do all of that and still happens.
I had a gong mast before this that was shaped chord 150mm at the 125mm at the bottom and NEVEr did it and never rinced it ever.
Is it a profile issue?

Probably is the profile then which could be optimized for prone surf, DW and winging instead of kiting. my chubanga kite foil is extremely ventilation resistant when kiting but if I kite with various surf and wing foil setups they definitely ventilate a lot more.

Sand the mast slightly with 1000-2000 grind paper and water horizontally
