I thought of a bell or whistle for the same purpose. I’d imagine it would have to be pretty aggressive to whistle at slow speeds? Or not. Cool idea.

I think the difference between good and excellent riders is often the last 15cm of viable mast that isn’t used. The efficiency increase is crazy.

I feel like a set of drills to hone in 3 key things flying close to the surface, within 5-10cm, but not breaching while still pumping pumping through waves and gaining altitude instead of losing it (timing is tricky) deliberately breaching a tip and catching it while relatively flat I think having a ski or boat to play around with these would be useful, as you get so few repetitions from catching waves.
