Wondering if anyone has recommendations on inexpensive ways to video friends/family from the shore. Video cameras, lenses for dslr cameras, etc. Looking for the ability to zoom in and video from a long distance. Thanks!
I did this from the pier using a Nikon P900 superzoom with a tripod. I could start getting video about a mile up the beach.

That’s pricey - looking for a much cheaper option if one exists.
Yeah, that’s a pretty high tier superzoom but the cheaper options are still decent you could probably pull shots at inside 100 yards with a $200 camera at 60x zoom vs this at 83x.
