I dockstart the Enduro 1300 alot and have tried both the code 1250r and 1075r. Main difference is the roll. The Enduro turns way better and is less locked in. The Code has a bit more glide and is more efficient for long distance straight line. Low end is somewhat similar between 1250r and 1300, and between 1100 Enduro and 1075r.
Foilways - Yeah, I use the two thin black stripe (XXS) 155 Downwind FOne tail and I think it matches up with the Short stock Code Fuselage pretty well. I don’t own any Code Fuse or tails so I cannot check for sure. I have a few FOne tails though and the one thin black stripe type (XS) those are about 30mm longer so they should match up with the Medium Code Fuselage, see picture, though I cannot confirm this directly. PS - Not sure what your application is, I just dockfoil. When I tried the stock code setup demo at first i used the long fus, that was ridiculously long how it felt so I just went right to the short, I didn’t even try the med length fus, though many people like the med fus alot I guess.

Thank you so much for that measurement! I can definitely work with that. I’ll compare that now to my M fuse setups. But it appears, from first glance, I’d need to source an XS fuse. Luckily, a few shops like Green Hat and Windance have closeouts on a few of those.
I like the M fuse, but didn’t like the L fuse. I do use the S fuse on the larger wings, so if I were dockstarting that’s what I’d be on.
But my use case is wing, parawing and prone on smaller to mid size foils. I was thinking of just gluing the stock M fuse to one of my Code foils and them shaping it to be “one-piece” with the front foil, and then be able to swap out tails. That would be the safe approach, as I know I will like that.
However, if I were to go with the F-one tail approach, it’s risky because I have to commit and there’s no going back. And if I hate it, or the tail angle isn’t quite where it should be, it’s game over.

Foilways - I sanded my code front wing down narrower to match the Fone monobloc tail width so in that way am committed. A Code rear fus and tail would still mount to my code front wing though, the fuse would just stick out a bit on both sides. I add a second screw hole to the Fone monobloc tails and then use thin washers to set the angle on how I want the angle to mate up. I add clay in the gaps to make it streamlined for testing and once I have the angle I want I glue up the Fone tails with release agent so it comes off though is all molded perfect for use. Anyway that is the process I have used. I feel going to the Fone monobloc tail this way makes it 10% less effort to pump and also easier to dig yourself out of a hole so benefits both ways, probably a bit faster too. Good luck!!
