true. Right now, my early issues are tip not being able to touch the water for 2 seconds without flooding and refusing to fly back up. It even kills steering. Just 2 seconds of tip touching.

I see much McLube and other water repelllent coatings in our future!

When I started kiting in 1999 with Concept Air foil kites, we went through tons of 303 protectant. It was a waste of time.

Which are you using? That’s how I get on the board and then knees with the Ensis. Put the kite at the edge of the window with the tip laying on the water like any old inflatable. Then I can have both hands on the deck with the bar in the downwind hand trapped against the deck.

Flies right back up :+1:

Same way, but in light wind with 5.5m Flow. Have not experienced better wind yet. I’m sure better wind will solve it. Regardless, we’re all going to experience being under powered at some point.

That’s also seemingly my issue, not enough wind for the 3M most of the time. With 18-20Kn it behaves really well with the tip on the water, stable and waiting for me to get sorted. My feeling is that a 4M isn’t going to add a tremendous amount to the low end, maybe 2-3 knots

Stash looking really nice, basically what I’ve always wanted is a Flysurfer Para-Peak. I do admit that the Peak’s tips are annoyingly hard to drain of water though, those 777 PT mesh bits look like they work really well.

Any word when gong’s ship date?

Local guy that does a lot of wing up-wind down winders has actually started packing a foil, so he can use a fast foil to grind upwind, and a slower one to downwind foil. (He’s going ashore for the foil change.) Had me thinking about whether the optimal wing for him is one that packs as small as possible, or a double skin racing wing that shortens the winging time.

Love this idea, sounds like he needs to use double skin for upwind, single for downwind

Too lazy to read all these posts! Keep the hype up! Yewww!
Iv flown a hand full of models, some are better than others for different applications.

Is there more info on the North parawing out yet?

That’s the most info I’ve seen. We’re supposed to have a demo any day though, I’ll post impressions.

Can’t post to much as we are due for release soon! It’s a full production model iv got now. 5.2/4.2/3.2/2.2
You will see news soon as it hits dealers world wide any moment now.
They are working great, I’m happy with them.

Looks like it’s working well for you :star_struck:

Duotone missing the price memo! In their defense the committee set the price 9 months ago when they budget for the design and prototyping!
