A little disappointed to find that the LF Supply / Larry Foiler bags use flimsy plastic zippers. Its an expensive bag and I have serious concerns that this won’t hold up long term. It would be a real inconvenience to have a board bag zipper break on a trip, stranding my gear. Have these plastic zippers failed on anyone?
Cant speak to the quality of the LF bags, but I have had metal zippers freeze up more often from salt corrosion.
I bought an LF daily for my prone. Absolutely love it and immediately bought a second one for my wing board, and then a third one for my soon-to-arrive DW board… I’ve gone through a lot of board bags as a surfer and I gotta say the LF ones are the nicest I’ve seen.
(ps I much prefer plastic zips on board bags).
Going on nearly two years w/ my LF board bag. Still looks brand new (other than a small grease stain that was my fault). No issues at all with the zipper.
