Selling a great condition Amos Kruzer 5’4 18 33.5L board (custom dimensions) with perfectly fitting Channel Islands bag.
Light pressure spots where my feet go for pumping, but zero dings scratches or damage. Maybe 30 sessions on this board.
Selling because I prefer my 4’4 Spitfire even despite the easier paddle in of a mid length. I also like the flat deck Spitfire’s have more than the concave deck that Kruzers and Raptors have.
$1250 including shipping in the US. Local pickup if you’re in the SF Bay Area.
I know you’re selling this, but since I’ve read your raptor vs spitfire thread from a little while back, I wondered what your eventual take on this was now that you’ve tried the Kruzer too.
Also noticed you got the same dims as the other guy who sold a custom Kruzer here in the Bay a couple of months ago. Any particular reason why you went longer? Now Amos’ 4’11” has about 34L.
I’m considering the same choice of boards and have lots of days with longer period (14-15s) reef waves.
I got the 5’4 Amos Kruzer (not the 4’11) but asked to make it narrower, I thought 19.5” would be too wide. I like the Spitfire more than both because of its flat deck vs the Concave deck. I’ve also gotten used to that higher pressure feeling on front foot from its rocker so now when I go to a Kruzer (or Raptor) it feels wrong to me not having that.

I see—basically you wanted to preserve the length of the original design without so much width compared to your other boards.
Think you’ll sell the raptor too?
