He didn’t fall. Made it another 9 miles I think. Whether or not he needs a new wetsuit after the run has not been answered yet.

Crazy - humming foil maybe? that thing was fixated on it. I’ve seen a lot of gws from my fishing boat and they never seem to care much about the boat, they sort of cruise over around and away all very casual, I’ve never seen anything like that. A couple of months ago I was going out to wing a slightly sketchy spot and a friend of mine who was out windsurfing came over to say he had just been approached by a “little” (8ft) one up the beach a bit, after some deliberation I went out anyway but having a singing foil just seemed like a fishing lure 
and I bailed after a few runs. Maybe this vid confirms that a foil is an attractant
that is absolutely terrifying. I had heard the Millers run crew say they think it might be a thing… fuck me
