Reaching out to all One-Ocean mast lovers riding CODE. I drew up an adapter to use Code foils on an Axis or One-Ocean mast. My shop can make it in Titanium, to avoid the corrosion issues with the aluminum versions. Its about twice the weight of aluminum, but still only 150grams. It’ll be ever so slightly stiffer, and it will last forever.
I need to know how many to order. If we can get a dozen commits, they’ll be $200USD shipped with USPS. I’ll be breaking even, but I really want one myself and making just one is a bit expensive. Not sure what shipping out of the country, costs but willing to do it if I can use USPS priority flat rate which is easy enough.
I wonder if you can work with One Ocean to have them have it available, as this would be big value add for them as well…
I myself am very interested in One Ocean mast but need to do more research on if it is suitable and if so which one specifically. I probably would have bought one long ago if there was a super solid adapter. I very much didn’t like the aluminum Axis to Code adapter I had used for various reasons.
Very interested in one! I’ll even commit to two if you get only 11 folks. This will save me so much work in disassembly (also the wear on the surfaces from disassembly).
