My Takoon 1950 fuse seat has developed a small crack and is taking on a bit of water.
My plan to fix it is to dremel out the crack and fill with epoxy and fiberglass then wrap the fuse in cellophane and bolt it on the wing.
Thoughts or advice?
Have you asked Takoon if they will warranty it before you start making repairs? Typically you should drill stop cracks on structural components, otherwise they will continue to propagate.
