Is it just me, or have you noticed how younger kids are killing it in the local foil scene? I am amazed at how quickly they pick it up and progress in a short period of time. Example, a buddy of mines 14yr old basically started wing foiling this year, the other night I went out with them, and he is now foiling in literal circles, upwind, downwind, tacking, gybing etc… in fact I dont even think he got wet that entire session. Another example, he has never dock started, after a couple hours, he was going up and down Nichol’s Basin ! As a learning 53 yr old, I am blown away (and a little jealous)! Any tips on how to progress like that?

Haa it’s not just you. I’ve seen that happen with my son. Freaking guy can pump forever on a prone board, sometimes he circles me just to piss me off. They are the future and they will take it to the next level.
