I’m open to other suggestions but I am looking at the Duotone Amp setup or the Signature Glide setup. Both are sets I can buy locally, which is important to me. Both, I think, will give me the big giant glide I want. I was wondering what everyone’s opinions are on those, especially if you have used them.
I weigh 185 lbs (84 kg). I’m currently on a Unifoil setup with a Hyper 2 250.
Haven’t ridden the duotone foils, but the glide looks pretty small. I expect a difficult high speed launch would be needed for it.
There is a glide that is over 2000 square cm. That was the one I was looking at. I think it’s span is over 145 cm.
I tried a foil that is the 1750 and it was pretty easy mellow foil to pump around. that would totally kill it at pump foiling. another option is to get a SPG glide 2050 and use it with your unifoil mast
I can use an SPG wing with a Unifoil mast? That may be a game changer.
No the game changer is a signature foil. 
The old masts were interchangeable between companies. Unifoil kept with a 2 bolt connection and Signature went with a 3 bolt connection pattern. I think that’s the correct way around.
Oh, that should be good. The biggest I saw on the website was a 900.

Been using the Amp 1750 for about a year, initially learning how to dock start. I’ts an easy foil to start, forgiving characteristics with a good glide. I would say it’s overall very good performer without being extreme in any way. Recently bought the Gong Ultra Trail XXL which compared is harder to start, a bit less turny, less forgiving but have loads of more glide. The Amp is for sure a good foil.
@Moffe I have Amp 2150 for almost a year now. But, cannot run longer than 1m30s. I was thinking on changing into amp 1750. Not sure it would be the good decision. How long were you able to pump on this smaller Amp before moving into Gong? Perhaps, going directly into trail would be a better option? I weight 80kg. Was wandering also if 1750 is not too small.
