Looking for a foil set around 1500cm or slightly smaller for dock starting as well as light wind winging. I already have the f one phantom 1280, so a carbonjam plane would be ideal. Also Intrested in used axis or armstrong complete set ups . 85kg rider .Thanks.

I weigh about the same as you, and am over 35s on an axis 1310png. I’d recommend a bigger wing and a small board for dockstarting.
I went from a takuma 1750 (1750cm²) to 2080cm² and it made a big difference. Basically always failing starts vs 10second runs.
Then I went from a 30l board to a 14l board, and that made a huge difference.
I’ve also tried the 350 progressive tail and it’s ok, but the 460 pump tail is easier.
I’ve tried the 1300v2 (1632 cm²) and it’s harder to start, and I’ve not taken it past 20s. I tried it with a 560mm fuse, and the shorter fuse did seem to make it easier to rise on the mast, so I wouldn’t worry about having a fuse that’s too short.
Not sure about your skill level - but the 1401 (1647sqcm) is great if you’re just getting started. If you see people your size doing what you want, focus on the gear they have - unlike me who wasted a year trying to have crossover gear for multiple disciplines before I got proper pumping stuff. Old big axis foils are cheap, so if the 1401 doesn’t turn the way you want for foiling, you can grab something smaller.
