I’ve got a spare week in a US trip in September this year and considering spending a week in Hood River for some downwinding. Can anyone give me some advice as to whether it’s a worthwhile trip in late September, whether I’d be able to find people to do some runs with and whether it’s easy enough to hire a board, foil and paddle etc?

Late September it’s likely you’ll get at least two decent days in a week and you may as well stay in Stevenson as it’ll be East winds most of the time.
