Still feeling solid about it. The big change was a while ago. BAR+GF wasn’t accurate. BAR*GF has been a reliable upgrade. I think that when I zoom out, and look at the foiling experience as a whole, it reinforces how important volume is in certain circumstances. There will always be give and take, in one way or another, even if it’s not always perfectly clear right away. Because of that, I think it’s still weighted correctly.
I’ve got the same board, and weight. It works really well, but I do feel that at the very low end it doesn’t pump well. It feels like after pushing the tail down it is damped returning to the surface rather than springing back.

I’ll be really curious after watching the video tech talks with Josh and Amos on the development of these…wondering how much crossover there might be with disciplines besides prone for the much thinner boards and design more focused on surface area and hull design than volume
I’ll also be super interested how it goes. My current PW board is the same liters but a good half foot shorter - so in theory this Kruzer V2 will be more efficient at the same volume?
My prone board is a 4’11 Kruzer and I love the extra length and thinner thickness. Hoping I’ll love the V2 Kruzer for the same reason.

Recently got the opportunity to test my friends’ set up for parawinging - a KT super K v1 at 92 l. Very stable compared to my Naish Chimera 2025 88l, despite being just 4 liters difference.
I used to think that board shape didn’t matter but wow was I wrong. The Chimera is a great winging but for parawinging and at my skill level - not so sure .
have ordered an Axis mini dart 90 as a result.

Still absolutly LOVE my Kalama Gator Compact Performance. Nothing gets out of the water like a Gator. Still has the width to use the rail to turn with power. Love it, can’t say enough. I use the 62L board, I weight 175-180lbs and I am usually on a small KT race foil, or my 700/830 Nomad.

2026 Duotone Paradox Parawing Board
Has anyone tried the hollow Duotone skybrid dlab? Last year’s was only available in one size, but now they’re expanding the range. The 80L board comes in at 3.7 kg / 8.2 lbs. Or would you say this weight reduction doesn’t matter enough?

90 l Mini Dart. I was able to get going much easier than with my Naish Chimera 88l. I weigh about 77kg but with the kit I am approaching 80-81kg I guess.
Wind was between 12 to 17/18 knots I reckon and I felt with this board I had the stability and ease to pump it properly without the nose burying.
Of course every piece of good kit helps and the Rover parawing certainly makes the job easier . But I feel this board made a big difference for me.
Overall very happy with the Mini Dart!

Interesting to hear you mention that it feels not as nimble as your previous board. That’s also been my impression after riding back to back my previous 6’4x22"x95 vs miniDart(6’4x20.5x100L). Both boards at a very similar weight, and of course same foil. Not too sure if it’s due to the thickness, the volume distribution, angle deck/tracks or whatever else, but once on foil I actually feel better/more balanced in turns on my other board. Position on board is well dialed after a couple of months, consistent with fwd straps inserts, foil position matching the float / slogging position. Don’t get me wrong, it still works super well, and its takeoff abilities are great, but I’m just surprised to feel a quite significant difference once on foil, something which could become a non-negotiable criteria.

Definitely not a deal breaker for me at the moment but as my skills progress I would probably size down. To be honest I just had maybe 10 seconds with the PW stashed and riding foil only so I have hardly had any time on it. My Naish Chimera (fantastic winging board by the way) always felt small for its size. A few weeks ago I briefly tested a super k v1 90 (or 92?) and that felt like a stable tanker in comparison to my Naish. I’d say the Mini dart lands right in between.
