Anybody have thoughts or experience with an integrated mast vs a Flow low profile mount?

Just an eyeball test, but I don’t think the Flow mount looks likely to give a performance gain over the stock mount. Wetted surface reduction is marginal and the bluffness of the design will increase pressure drag and put more of the propeller in worse flow conditions, reducing propeller efficiency.
Main advantage of the integrated mast is that you dont have the cable running down the back of the mast. Less drag, less ventilation, less wake on the prop, better propeller efficiency.
Neither option strikes me as worthwile on a cost/performance basis. If cost is no issue, definitely get an integrated mast.

I have a similar pod, and notice no performance difference vs the original Foildrive pod.
Yet there are two advantages:
- Can be mounted on asymetrical or curved mast such as AFS UHM (impossible with the OG Foildrive pod which requires straight masts).
- Faster to mount and adjust
