I don’t paddle but I can tell you there is a big difference in pumping up the 960 vs 1340 as well as dock starting them. The 1340 has quite a bit lower low end than the 960.
I can dead start, jump start, rock start, 1 step start, reverse push start the 1340 with ease.
So far I’ve only managed to dock start the 960 via 2-3 step run start, but I don’t spend much time on it as I just choose the 1340 instead.
I would compare the Atlas 960 to the Axis 1201 (1300 sqcm) in terms of starts and pump ups, probably a little bit easier than the 1201.
