The manera pocket wing belt looks promising!
While I havenât used one, Im liking the concept of separate bar/wing pockets like this and the Manera belt have.
beer belly vs busty figure⌠choose your side!
Is it too much to ask they make these products in bright yellow/orange/etc instead of colors that blend in with the ocean? ![]()
Exactly. Some of us use PW to do downwinders far from shore in cold water locations with some marine traffic, so hi vis is pretty important. I personally need a high vis PFD, stash pouch and harness combination in one with big dry bag in the back for spare PW since I am already stacking all these items together ![]()

Thereâs the Fidlock closure I was suggesting. Pouch looks a little small but hard to tell.
If you contact KPS/Larrabee they can produce larger pouch options. That one says itâs good for up to ~4.5m. I messed around with their proto and it fits a 4.3 pocket rocket well
Anyone try out the new Kaohi Stowaway Harness yet? Iâm looking to see if there are any improvements on the v1 Ozone Stash belt. The Larrabee one also looks interesting.
These stash belts are ridiculously overpriced in my opinĂon.I thought of buying one for DW but donât see the need . $180 tells me to hold it in one hand or stuff it in my rashy. You can buy a waist belt for running or hiking for far less that has multiple pockets w/zippers. The labor to sew them has to be more than the stash belts offered. Sorry for the rant. I feel better now.![]()
Thereâs always aliexpress for $50 if someone wants to take that gamble.
this looks like an improvement on the Ozone v1 which is not good for me (using it in waves), the velcro doesnât survive the surf so I had to adapt it, and it doesnât fit the bar very well IMO, It doesnât look like theyâve addressed either in the v2 https://ozonekites.com/wing/accessories/parawing-stash-belt-v2/
I think the best thing the Koahi one has is the top stretchy that keeps the bar in pace, but Iâd like to see more velcro straps. I want to survive a wave hold down without that thing escaping
looks amazing, I would love to hear if anyone has tried it
From an environmental standpoint: They need to get rid of that glue on rubber. It just shreds over time and 100% of it is in the water now. Plus, it makes it hard to slide your hook side to side until itâs rubbed off.
For me the best solution is wear a normal harness that is super comfortable if you go upwind and then wear an ozone v1 stash belt on top of it to carry your para.
Got plenty of hours now on the V2 Ozone Stash. A little more supportive than the V1, velcro seems stronger too. Place for hook knife and a few leash attachment points.
Honestly the V1 felt great to me so I wasnât exactly chomping for an upgrade. V2 is a nice little upgrade though, nothing flashy.
Looking forward to what Faed supply (https://www.instagram.com/faed_supply?igsh=MXhla3gwM2c0d2pnaA==) is cooking up.
In the meantime, i took a RE Vinaka V1 ($40 rn) + lycra rashie to make a side load stash. Great for the big pwangs (4m+) Iâve been using in La Ventana. No more origami while on foil. A-line douse, add bar, and stuff. Much improved my relaunch.
I think they would be better with a purse style opening that opens wide & clicks shut. Stops all the stuffing around.
Yeah, I noticed that rubber/silicone. It looks like the same material they used on my Cloud IX Anchorman wing belt, but that puzzled me a bit because I thought it was there for grippiness and would think that you wouldnât want that with a parawing stash that youâll be rotating around frequently. Which looks like it will eventually shed from friction.
Okay, well it looks like thereâs nothing compelling yet on the market. These belts arenât cheap considering the materials theyâre made from, so it needs to be a significant upgrade in usability, durability, and comfort from what I currently have.
I like the look of this harness. Kaohi is also doing a rebranded version.
Has anyone played with a âtube holsterâ to separate the bar from the parawing? Always a risk that it falls out, but I feel like that could be a really natural way to stash the bar first then have two hands for the sail fold/stow. something with enough rigidity to stay open on top.
