Smaller foil option - P125 or Sk8 750/850?

Hi all. I am almost a year in, mostly prone and sometimes winging waves. 73kg.

My current foil is a P170, medium fuse, P14.5 tail with a no limitz mast. I really like the P170 and will be keeping that as a small wave and light wind foil.

I was always planning on getting a P125 as a smaller foil but now I have the NL mast it opens up other options. Sk8s seem very popular as a prone/wing option. Please could I ask opinions from anyone who has ridden both as to which I would be better getting (if there is any difference between the two at all). I can’t afford to buy new unfortunately and the second hand market in the UK seems to have more 750/850 sk8s than it does P125 coming up. Thanks very much!

The 125 is going to be more pump friendly and glidey given higher aspect ratio. The Sk8 (either size) will feel more surfy. Believe it or not, the sk8 will have more top end. I think either would pair nicely with your 170.
