Baseplate side-shim increase your boards traction? - Roll Shimming

I just had that that idea and want to hear your thoughts:

What is if we shim the baseplate on the opposite side of where you are SUP - paddling.

The roll-shimmed foil would compensate the snaking to one side.
That would let us put more power of a paddle stroke into a forward momentum instead of correcting the snaking with a c-stroke.

Love to hear your Thoughts.

Try it and let us know

I think its been discussed but also seems like it could help turning on if you only go one direction

I know Zane Westwood was trying sideways baseplate shims. Not sure what became of that though.
