Hi all - new to foiling and looking to get into downwind / SUP foiling. I live on Oahu (in town) and looking for best spots to learn/practice. I hear the learning curve is tough, so a good location to practice getting up on foil in decent conditions would be great. I hear practicing dock starts is helpful too, but don’t know of any places where that would be possible.
As a note, just got an efoil and playing around with it at Sand island, but that doesn’t seem like a great place to practice downwind/sup.
