Code 810x in Chicama?

I’m curious if anyone has ridden a Code 810x in Chicama yet, and if so how did it handle?

Also if anyone has ridden it in other long period swell locations (15+ sec) and any reviews in similar conditions. I’ve only winged it in pretty flat conditions, so I don’t have any first hand feelings on its performance in legit waves. I’m headed to Chicama next spring and I’m wondering if an 810x could replace the 720S in the quiver.

I have not. But this is the 810x. I think you’ll be fine.

I didn’t see any mention of the 810x in the details or comments. Where did you see it?

He didn’t list it because it was a prototype at the time. I’ve talked to him. Also discussed that foil with James Casey. They like it.

I had it out recently on the 11’@14s swell breaking off our harbor jetty and it was more manageable that the 720S at speed and doesn’t lock up in roll as much.

It’s a significant improvement but I really want the next size down as this one still pumps really well.

Thanks man, great info! Kinda what I was expecting but it’s awesome to get some first hand intel.

And I’m very curious as well on the next sized down release. :eyes:

You should barrow my Vyper 90 fletch

That’s a great foil. Kinda regret selling it.

Vyper 90? Just spoke to @dillionaire and didn’t realize it was so ahead of its time with @misterbennetts tow-specific design that still maintains relevance. Definitely has me thinking…

Wait until you ride the smaller FLUX wings from FLITELab* :ok_hand:t3:
