Just got in the new gear excited to take it out. There is an incredible lack of info on the specs so thought this might help someone else out that has a foil addiction!
I love the Armstrong setup I have but feel like the flitelab being a little higher aspect mid aspect might just be the perfect setup for what I like to do!!
They weighed the same even tho I guess there is a little more length in the Flitlabe at 82 mast versus the Armstrong 795 PM. Attached you can see the Armstrong 795 PM / 680 ha/ 60 Fuse / Dart 140 versus the Flitelabe 82 mast / 707 Flux / Short fuse / 140 tail and has the neutral shim in it. Both came in at 6.8 lbs.
Looks like flitelab has the wing a little closer to the mast maybe due to it being a mid aspect versus the 680ha chord and the tail is a little longer on the other side.
Both great brands. The wiggle test on torsional stiffness goes to Flitelab noticeably stiffer set up. Also much easier to put it together. Cant really go wrong either way just comes down to what you like to do. Cheers -Rich
