I’m brand new to foiling and trying to decide between a Max or Fusion foil drive. My goal is to use it in waves. Who knows where the sport will take me but I’d like to get the right equipment now and make this a lifelong hobby.
I appreciate any input to help me get started!
What’s your weight, anyone above 90kgs really needs the Fusion unless your just going to chip into waves..

Go the Max, no need to carry the extra weight of the Fusion. With the right setup you can still get over an hour of surf foiling with the HP battery.
100% go with the max. The fusion is great for big guys, or those who want to mostly Efoil.
And with the Max you have the option of the Sport or Travel battery, not available with the Fusion. The best option for a lighter rider is to buy new, but get the dealer to upgrade the kit with the HP motor and battery. Cheaper to do it that way than try and upgrade later.
