Help choosing quiver

Hey guys,

I’ve just sold my Gong setup and I’m starting fresh with a new quiver of foils. Budget is a bit tight so I’ll be buying second hand. With all the brands dropping new gear lately, I’m guessing there should be some good deals on previous gen stuff.

I’m 80kg and looking for a carbon mast, an intermediate DW/SUP front wing, and a prone wing that can link a few waves and still surf well. I’m based in Europe.

So far I’ve been looking at F-One (Eagle X, SK8) and AFS, but I’m open to other options. Total budget is around 2k for everything.

I also wingfoil and down the line would like to add something around 700cm² for waves/freestyle.

What would you guys be looking at in my position? Any models that are especially good value on the used market right now?

Can’t speak for pricing in Europe but would throw Code Foils in the mix.

At 80kg you could probably get away with the standard HM (non +) mast which is a bargain on the 2nd hand market.

Plenty of wings in the range of all sizes and aspect ratios to pick from depending on if you’re after more glide or more turn. With the recent release of the X series there’s been some good deals on S series which are still a very nice setup.

R = Glide
S = All Rounder
X = Surf turns
