Absolutely. We have focused really hard on making this an ecosystem for years to come. Same with the launch pad in the front of the boards that controls and records your session. It just swaps between boards. I even use it to record my session when proning or winging with the blank cartridge in.
hi Oceanfrother - is there a target release date for the Jet assist? Trying to figure out how long i can wait!
cheers
Hey bsjcummings
Definitely this year. Can’t give an exact date sorry more likely in the second half is all I can say atm. We are in the final stage but you never know what turns up in the final testing. The battery tech is next level for the jet and future plans we have and needs to be thoroughly tested. Safety is our No.1 priority with performance right behind it
Thank you - that’s all I need to know cheers!
So the timing of videos…and publicity was just to put breaks on the opponent. It’s a strange timing, they lost my trust since it’s not even sure when this product will hit the market.
We decided to tell the world about AMP for a few reasons. We had plenty of our current customers asking constantly if we we working on an assist product so it was getting increasingly difficult to not answer the question. Also leaks were starting to happen as we been out testing the product for some time. The product will definitely be in market this year. Depending on Final testing which we are up too we don’t want to give a final Date incase we don’t meet it. As soon as we are really confident on the final date we will let everyone know. We could easily rush the product and get it to market pretty soon but we want to make sure this lives up to the reliability and safety of what Flite is known for.
I’m 66 and sup foil waves. Am I really going to have to learn to pop-up now?
Anyone has update ?
I read (on a Bennetts Instagram post IIRC) that pre order are planned for november, but is it still the target ?
I hear they’ve had production issues mass-producing the board. Not sure where that stands but seems like a “we’ll see it when we see it” kinda thing. I’m sympathetic, I can only imagine the kind of unexpected things that come up when you’re trying to get a factory somewhere consistently producing a pretty novel product.
