Curious if anyone else has seen the top layer of epoxy flake off their KT foil parts, especially in the mast seat and the track nut bevel. I’ve never had this on any other carbon things I’ve owned, should I be concerned? If it’s just a one time thing of the top most layer it doesn’t seem like a big deal. If it keeps flaking off more and more that would be serious.
Yes, having the same, at any connection area. Could result in some loose fit, but doubtful. I’m more concerned with how easily the finish scratched, and corrosion of the aluminum fuse and stainless screw inserts.
