Mast stiffness and mast length

What’s the relationship to mast length and stiffness. For example, let’s say I have the 75HM axis mast. And I have an 50cm alloy axis mast. Would the 50 be as stiff as the 75? The benefit of the stiffness getting cancelled out by the extra length

Under different loading scenarios length plays a greater or lesser role. But basically it has a huge effect on deflection.

It’s a more linear relationship for torsional forces.
